Hello - fellow adoptee here. Have you read a lot of the adoptee books? I feel like they are all so negative and some are scary. I guess if your experience was a good one it's not that interesting of a read...

Many women want to give their baby away. My grandmother sent her downs syndrome child to a state home - twice. The Dad kept going back and getting him, and bringing him home. My grandmother never wanted the child and resented having to raise him. I think he would have been better off adopted into a loving family. Every case is different.
